John Crognale began his appraisal career as an appraiser trainee at a mid-size Philadelphia area based appraisal firm in 2005. Later, John founded Crognale Appraisal Company which he successfully operated for several years until co-founding Capital Valuation Partners with Meg and Dave. During his appraisal career, John has performed appraisals for a variety of clients including institutional investors, national and local banks, law offices, corporations and private individuals.

John has experience appraising a vast variety of commercial property types with prior appraisal assignments including residential subdivisions, shopping centers, industrial buildings, office buildings and various land types. In 2012, John received the prestigious MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. He also earned his Master of Business Administration from Villanova University. He resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife and two children.
